Narcissistic Personality Disorder is, like most disorders, a spectrum. A lot of people fall on this spectrum without ever being diagnosed or facing any major issues in their lives or relationships. Others face consequences for their behavior and those who form relationships with them become victims of narcissistic abuse. This is a result of narcissistic abuse. A narcissist makes the person they are with feel this way because that’s the way they feel. They don’t think anyone who is not them is good enough. The part worth thinking about the most with regard to this feeling is what it means about your sense of self. The fact that they have made you feel like you could never be good enough for them does not necessarily have to be a problem in and of itself. What makes them a narcissist is the fact that no one else will ever be good enough for them. To move toward your recovery, you need to start measuring yourself by some other standard than the one the narcissist you were withheld you to. You give - he takes! A very simple, unfortunately, not infrequently, a devilish contract. And it better to recognize this before you commit. The first step, so you do not fall into this trap, is to accept that narcissists tick completely differently from the world view of a highly sensitive human being. Narcissists are, unfortunately, difficult to recognize at first. Until they have your full attention, they behave exceedingly charming and generous. Carry on your hands and make the most passionate declarations of love, most of all they want to contract with you or make promises of marriage. There is a danger in being narcissistic. Other people might regard this as a changeable attitude. But when it starts to get worse and become pathological, it becomes a different story. People who start to develop narcissistic personality disorder is not experiencing what people call as a “phantom illness”. It exists within their minds. They are a victim of their own past and upbringing. They need help because they have been held captive by their own mind. Because of this, they are unable to function as regular human beings. They are unable to trust, enjoy, love, care, and compromise. Every day for them is a struggle of paranoia, anxiety, and fear. Although it is very annoying to deal with them most of the time, I hope this book gives enlightenment to people who think too critically about people with NPD. If you have friends or family members who have any form of psychological disorder, it is best to push them to seek medical help. If you are experiencing these kinds of problems, break the stigma of mental health. Think of your own good and strive for your own betterment. Therapists will readily accommodate people in need. They listen without any judgment or criticism. You both share a common goal: to help you get better as an individual. But none of his treatments will work if you do not work along with him. You play an important role in your life. Nobody can fix it better more than you do. Remember what Shakespeare said; “You are the captain of your own ship.” You define what comes and goes in your life. If you want to suffer the consequences of narcissistic personality disorder for the rest of your life, so be it. But be sure to be ready for the consequences. This audiobook gives a comprehensive guide on the following: Types of narcissism What leads to narcissism? Narcissist by gender Narcissist, take off the mask! How does the narcissist abuse?
