All the information you could ever want on a ship is available online, or in the cruise line's brochures ... stats, weights, where the ship was built, all those dry facts and figures. When we began dreaming about taking on the Mediterranean, my mind leaped right past all that. What I really wanted to know was how real people actually did the cruise planning. I wanted to know where did they go, and what did they do, and what did they like, what did they wish that they had done differently? What did they learn along the way, what did they enjoy the most, and what do they wish they had not wasted time on? What I really wanted was to have a conversation with a whole bunch of people. That's it, I wanted a think tank of other cruisers, and I couldn't find one. I studied tour books and cruise books and multiple websites, I read hundreds of reviews, I learned about each city, and each port. And this book is the result, right in your hand! Come along with the Cruise Addict and his wife on their first-ever journey to Europe! Written day by day, it's just like being there. Part tour guide, part story, this book is laced with insights to help you make the most of your own Mediterranean cruise. Ten ports, all through the eyes of a traveler like yourself...only wiser. Just dreaming? You'll enjoy the humorous stories as the Cruise Addict takes on The Continent. Learn what to see, what to skip, how to see more than anyone else while saving money. Most important, learn how to personalize your cruise for a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
