All four series of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 sketch show. Welcome to The Consultants’ lifestyle presentation conference and comedy show - listen and learn as they present their 1,000-point plan of action, complete with shouting, songs and plenty of silliness. In these 22 episodes, the team ponders how to revamp tea to make it more dangerous and exciting, wonders why so many men went to ‘mow a meadow’, practises the dark arts with a lightly tossed salad and makes latex representations of a spaniel with the help of children's entertainer Jeremy Lion. Plus, Demis Roussos and Napoleon Bonaparte enter a witness protection scheme in Swanage, a 'ladies man' sings about his suspect personal hygiene and two travellers stumble upon a very unusual pub quiz.... Written and performed by Radio 4’s only three-man double act, the Perrier Award-winning Neil Edmond, Justin Edwards and James Rawlings, this witty, cerebral sketch comedy features an eclectic mix of puns, serials, ditties and sketches suitable for the elderly, children and elderly children. It will not help you progress along the path to business enlightenment - but it will make you laugh a lot. They cope with the pressures of singledom, marriage and having kids with peanut allergies. And they all do it effortlessly, with nothing more than a women's mag and a poem by Pam Ayres to guide them. So why can't she pull it off? Everything would be fabulous if only she could wangle an invitation to her boss' wedding, buy a flat with her boyfriend and get her mum to loan her £10,000. But even with a new kitchen, an awards ceremony and her own engagement party to look forward to, she's still anxious. Published in the 200th anniversary year of the Battle of Waterloo, a witty look at how the French still think they won, by Stephen Clarke, author of 1000 Years of Annoying the French and A Year in the Merde. Two centuries after the Battle of Waterloo, the French are still in denial. If Napoleon lost on 18 June 1815 (and that's a big 'if') then whoever rules the universe got it wrong. As soon as the cannons stopped firing, French historians began rewriting history. The Duke of Wellington was beaten, they say, and then the Prussians jumped into the boxing ring, breaking all the rules of battle. In essence the French cannot bear the idea that Napoleon, their greatest-ever national hero, was in any way a loser. Especially not against the traditional enemy - les Anglais. Stephen Clarke has studied the French version of Waterloo, as told by battle veterans, novelists, historians - right up to today's politicians, and he has uncovered a story of pain, patriotism and sheer perversion....

Miles Jupp stars as fussy food writer Damien Trench in the complete four series of this much-loved BBC Radio 4 sitcom.
Well-known cookery writer Damien Trench is famous for his book A Year in the Kitchen, a diary of everything he cooked and ate over the course of 12 months. Now, for the follow-up volume, In and Out of the Kitchen, Damien undertakes to open up the doors 'not only to my kitchen, but also to my life'. But is Damien’s life as idyllic as his listeners might suppose?
During the course of these 22 episodes, we follow the ups and downs of life for Damien and his partner, Anthony, as Damien films a pilot for his TV series Poets and their Palates, appears at a literary festival, dips his toe into the world of journalism, contends with the well-meaning interference of friends, look after a baby, and plan their wedding.
Many of Damien’s recipes are included along the way. As he himself might say, enjoy - and more importantly, cook.
