When it was first released in 2013, Arnold Kling's The Three Languages of Politics was a prescient exploration of political communication, detailing the "three tribal coalitions" that make up America's political landscape. Progressives, conservatives, and libertarians, he argued, are "like tribes speaking different languages. As a result, political discussions do not lead to agreement. Instead, most political commentary serves to increase polarization." Now available as a newly revised and expanded edition, Kling's book could not be any more timely, as Americans - whether as media pundits or conversing at a party - talk past one another with even greater volume, heat, and disinterest in contrary opinions. The Three Languages of Politics is an accessible, precise, and insightful guide to how to lower the barriers coarsening our politics. This is not a book about one ideology over another. Instead, it is a book about how we communicate issues and our ideologies, and how language intended to persuade instead divides. Kling offers a way to see through our rhetorical blinders so that we can incorporate new perspectives, nuances, and thinking into the important issues we must together share and resolve.

Few serial killers in history have garnered as much attention as Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer. Although Dahmer killed 17 young men and boys, it was not so much the number of people he killed that makes him stand out among famous serial killers, but more so the acts of depravity that he committed on the corpses of his victims. In this true crime story, you will listen to how Dahmer transitioned from a loner to serial killer, committing numerous unnatural acts along the way such as necrophilia and cannibalism. Following in the macabre tradition of another infamous Wisconsin serial killer - Ed Gein - Jeffrey Dahmer terrorized Milwaukee for most of the 1980s until he was finally captured in 1991. Perhaps one of the most frightening aspects of Jeffrey Dahmer's serial killer career was how easy he was able to lure his victims into his trap. Dahmer possessed above average intellect, was conventionally good looking, and usually had a calm demeanor that could disarm even the most paranoid of people. Because of these traits, Dahmer was able to evade justice numerous times, which allowed him to keep killing. Truly, Dahmer was able to fool his family, the police, his neighbors, and even the judicial system into believing that he was not a threat; but during the entire time his kill count increased and the body parts of his victims began to pile up around his apartment. Purchase this audiobook to listen to a story that is among the most disturbing of all true crime serial killers. You will follow the course of Dahmer's life from an alcoholic outcast in high school to a vicious predator who stalked the streets of Milwaukee. Finally, you will hear about Dahmer's trial, his jail house murder, and the impact that his many crimes had on Milwaukee.

Tiger Bravo’s War follows a band of young paratroopers, from the same battalion in the elite 101st Airborne Division portrayed in Stephen Ambrose’s World War II best seller Band of Brothers, during their first year in combat in the Vietnam War - from a bayonet charge in War Zone D and street fighting during the 1968 Tet Offensive, to a rescue mission of a surrounded platoon and rock and roll in the company mess hall, and much more. 30 of their number would be killed in action, and collectively they would amass a staggering 150 Purple Hearts. It is also about everyday life in a war zone and the strange, often harsh, sometimes beautiful, tropical environment in which the war was fought. Lastly, it is a soldier’s tale of the young men of Tiger Bravo - the son of a World War II Japanese fighter pilot, who wins a Silver Star fighting as an American infantryman; the tough kid from rural Texas, who leaves a job cleaning astronaut offices in Houston to volunteer to be a paratrooper; the medic, abandoned by his mother, who would find in Tiger Bravo the family he never had; and over a dozen more with their own unique stories.

You will follow criminal investigations into cold murder cases that were once thought to be unsolvable, but through a combination of scientific advances, good police work, and some luck, homicide detectives were able to give the victims' families closure. Other cases profiled involve privileged individuals who had plenty of money, but resorted to murder out of greed and selfishness. Men are always trying to figure out what attracts women to men. Women typically make references to appearance, finances, and power. Although those things might help, there are many more influential characteristics that will entice women. Overall, women are much more insightful and seek out disposition a lot more than just attractiveness. This is lucky for almost all men due to the fact that men are rough looking. Nevertheless, rough is sometimes a good attribute because it indicates power and dependability. It also shows that women are caring about a lot more vital things than just looks. So, if you look a bit rugged and rough, there is no problem with that, use it to your advantage. Using Your Body Language to Attract the Ladies According to several researches, 90 percent of communication with each other that is non-verbal, is basically done through body language. This is exactly why men must have decent body language skills if you are to attract a woman. Acquiring good body language skills is something that takes time and practice if it doesn't come naturally to you. For example, don't slouch. Sit up straight enough to not look like a sloth, but not too straight that you look like a stiff stick. Keep your shoulders back as if a high wind was forcing you. Remember to keep your head up! If you are doing all of this right at this moment, chances are you are as anxious as a pole. The key to eye-catching body language is to be calm all the time, while having a very good stance. Keep Fit This shouldn't seem very difficult at all, but it seems to be. Keep your body in shape as well as your mind. If a woman sees that you can't take care of yourself, how will you ever manage to take care of her? Run, jog, or walk at least 30 minutes a day and if you really want to impress her with your muscles, lift some weights every day as well. Whether it be free weights or dumbbells, get those flabby muscles toned!

From rampage killers to hunters that seek out human prey in the shadows of the night, this serial killer anthology is a collection of horror stories. Collectively these men were responsible for hundreds of deaths, and they all belong in the realm of the worst serial killers to date. Delve into eight different cases and explore the heinous deeds committed, the background of each killer, and the apparent motives for their crimes. There are those who went on deadly rampages, such as Cho Seung-Hui and George Hennard; men who decided to inflict as much terror in one day as they possibly could. Famous serial killers are included, such as the Hillside Stranglers, Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono, and the Beast of the Ukraine, Anatoly Onoprienko. There are also lesser known murderers such as Fritz Haarmann and Ronald Dominique, who preyed on young men for their own deviant pleasures. Each of these true murder stories will leave you with a sense of horror and perhaps a little fear. David Parker Ray's surviving victims still live in fear today, and this notorious true crime story is one of the most sadistic and disturbing. With tales of torture, mind control and violence, very few survived their time in Ray's toy box. The true crime stories in this book have been selected because of the horrendous nature of their actions and the sheer volume of victims they slaughtered. Innocent people, going about their daily business or asleep in their beds, all make up these serial killers true crime stories.
