Gold Dust Woman gives "the gold standard of rock biographers" (the Boston Globe) his ideal topic: Nicks' work and life are equally sexy and interesting, and Davis delves deeply into each, unearthing fresh details from new, intimate interviews and interpreting them to present a rich new portrait of the star. Just as Nicks (and Lindsay Buckingham) gave Fleetwood Mac the "shot of adrenaline" they needed to become real rock stars - according to Christine McVie - Gold Dust Woman is vibrant with stories and with a life lived large and hard: How Nicks and Buckingham were asked to join Fleetwood Mac and how they turned the band into stars The affairs that informed Nicks' greatest songs Her relationships with the Eagles' Don Henley and Joe Walsh, and with Fleetwood himself Why Nicks married her best friend's widower Her dependency on cocaine, drinking, and pot, but how it was a decade-long addiction to Klonopin that almost killed her Nicks' successful solo career that has her still performing in venues like Madison Square Garden The cult of Nicks and its extension to chart-toppers like Taylor Swift and the Dixie Chicks

Being a man or a woman in your early 60s is different than it was a generation or two ago, at least for the more fortunate of us. We aren't old...yet. But we sense it coming: Careers are winding down, kids are gone, parents are dying (friends, too), and our bodies are no longer youthful or even middle-aged. Learning to play tennis in your 50s is no small feat, but becoming a serious, competitive tennis player at the age of 60 is a whole other matter. It requires training the body to defy age and to methodically build one's game - the strokework, footwork, strategy, and mental toughness. Gerald Marzorati started playing the game seriously in his mid-50s. He had the strong desire to lead an examined physical life, to push his body into the "encore" of middle age. In Late to the Ball, Marzorati writes vividly about the difficulties, frustrations, and triumphs of his becoming a seriously good tennis player. He takes on his quest with complete vigor and absolute determination to see it through, providing a rich, vicarious experience involving the science of aging, his existential battle with time, and the beautiful, mysterious game of tennis.

After conquering all of Hesse, creating a devilish new dungeon, and establishing himself as the villain that everyone loves to hate, Lucas decides to continue his quest to create new content by taking over as a dungeon master on the mainland. Unlike the dominant force on the island he left behind, however, the once-mighty Imperium only controls a single capital city in a rapidly shrinking territory, leaving a group of scheming nobles to bicker among themselves and fight over scraps of land. Seen as an upstart and rabble-rouser, Lucas is instantly shunned and must struggle to find somewhere to begin building his new base. Now, after declaring himself the enemy of every man in the city, and with every player in the region hunting his head to claim the bounty placed there, Lucas has to decide which allies he can trust as he fights to stay alive long enough to establish a new lair and gain a foothold in a hostile land. Introducing new monsters, a curious new group member, and flashy new spells, this gamelit litRPG adventure follows Lucas as he writes his own story as the greatest villain the game world has ever known. "Another amazing chapter of the Heroic Villain story from Charles Dean. An enthralling story by an author who just keeps hitting homeruns!" (Dave Willmarth, writer of the Greystone Chronicles) This book is brought to you from the author of the litRPG series War Aeternus, The Bathrobe Knight, and The Merchant of Tiqpa.

On his way to death row, torn into a galaxy of supers, told the fate of the universe is on his hands. This is the story of Breaker. The first four books included in this boxset, along with a bonus. Who in their right mind tells both his lawyer and the judge presiding over his murder trial, F--k you! while still in the courtroom? No one, right? Yeah, youd be wrong about that. I did. Youd say the same thing if you were just found guilty of a murder you didnt commit, though. Call me crazy for going off like that in court, but trust me, you dont know crazy until you see what happened next. I never believed in superheroes. I certainly didnt believe that Id become one, or that strategically forming a harem of hot ladies and getting down with them to unlock my superpowers would be the key to my survival. Did I say my survival? I meant the universes. No, really...thats exactly what happened when I was taken to a galaxy of supers, thrown into a prison ship full of villains, and told it was up to me to stop them all. Read on, friend, because it gets a whole hell of a lot crazier from here. This boxset contains the following: Supers: Ex Heroes 1 Supers: Ex Heroes 2 Supers: Ex Heroes 3 Supers: Ex Heroes 4 Plus a bonus! WARNING: This book contains violence and many sexual situations, a harem, heads exploding, and ample blood. You might cringe, you will laugh, and hell, you might even cry. All of that is on purpose, I assure you. Second Edition for even better ball jokes.

The war is in full swing. Following the unprecedented outcome of the siege at Fort Yimin, both the Republic and the Empire are forced to drastically reevaluate their plans for the conflict. With matters on the western front more or less settled for the moment, the warring nations turn their attention toward the eastern theatre. Winter looms on the horizon, threatening to deadlock the region and put a temporary halt to hostilities. With both sides planning to deploy bold and unconventional strategies on top of committing vast resources, its anyones guess which of them will come out on top. Indeed, neither government is shying away from resorting to underhanded, questionable, or downright amoral means. The Gilded Hand has been stepping up their efforts to further Spymaster Edward Allens schemes. The Empires intelligence agency is also looking to field its most powerful enforcers in the coming battles. The Republics Foreign Intelligence Bureau is having a hard time keeping up, but they are not without their own dirty tricks. Rumors within the royal palace of the Horkensaft Kingdom to the east suggest that the dwarves and gnomes are on the verge of aiding the elven nation. Something that wouldnt have been made possible without the Republics deep coffers, and the less-than-reputable individuals that fill them. Boxxy T. Morningwood isnt one of those shady contributors. If anything, its been steadily draining the governments resources as it forces them to pay exorbitant fees to resolve issues that the monster itself creates. A trend it plans to keep following for as long as it can lie, cheat, and murder its way through life. Which, barring something ridiculous like divine intervention, is poised to be a very long time indeed. Content warning: Profanity, gore, violence, explicit adult content.

It also develops an advanced VR headset that uses consumable nanomachines to let users experience time faster in virtual worlds. Two years later, ARKUS releases World-Tree Online, a game where players scale a giant tree with thousands of unique game worlds hanging from the branches. The game's time-dilation makes it so that one hour of playtime feels like one month to those in-game, allowing humans to virtually extend their lifespans. However, after an old gamer named Vincent joins World-Tree Online, an update begins that stretches the time-dilation to one year for every five seconds. Players are unable to exit the game during the update - with an estimated wait time of three hundred sixty years. Daniel's (updated) guide to early retirement, version 2.0: Intercept illegal money transfer from mafia boss. (Complete success. Except for the part where I was discovered and almost caught.) Hide out in super-exclusive full immersion virtual reality game until the heat is off. (Doing fine so far. They may have figured out that Im in-game. Still, its a huge game, so no problem, right?) Roll a bard. Max out charisma. Live it up. (Two out of three aint bad. Were just postponing the "live it up" part a bit.) Profit. (Still almost two years to go for that. Think happy thoughts!) He could have been way worse off. Sure, Daniel was stuck in-game as the local bard of a quaint village, but people were nice, the quests juicy, and the lore intriguing. Even so, with the mob on the look-out, Daniel would soon find himself sorely tested to avoid detection. Disclaimer: Still no harems in this series, even with a bard MC. Go figure. Were going light on the cursing and less light on the puns. You were warned.

I knew I was losing it when I found myself on a prison ship with three hot chikas all sleeping with me, but I had to be out of my f--king mind to suggest the four of us leap through a black hole because a voice told me to. And yet, we ended up okay. We found ourselves in another galaxy, on a strange planet, and settled in for a night of spicy delight. If only it could've ended there, right? Not a chance. Even with all of our super powers combined, we were nearly captured by a dark and powerful enemy. We found ourselves fighting deadly supervillains determined to steal our powers for themselves, teaming up with rebels to take down their slavers, and even entering a gladiator-style arena fight for the point of leveling up and maxing out the skill tree necessary to put all the pieces of this crazy world back together again. But hey, along the way my harem grew and I learned new ways to kick ass with my powers, so it might have all been worth it. You'll just have to listen to form your own opinion. Soundbooth Burlesque presents the second installment of the raunchy and action-packed super space epic, Supers: Ex Heroes! Chad, the man with the most convenient super power ever devised by an author of fiction, and his posse of, "lovely ladies", have returned! On their quest to save the universe, Chad expands his super harem even further, and gains more powers with which to combat the forces of evil... The Soundbooth Burlesque team for this production: Justin Thomas James - Narration, Chad, other male characters Carly Crawford - Twitch, Gale, and other female characters Yvonne Sinn - Charm, Shimmer, and the rest of the female cast Jeff Hays - Wendlor, Talupis, and the rest of the male cast Justin Thomas James - Proofing, editing, mastering

One man. One game. One adorable baby dragon. Two weeks ago, Hector Park cheated death by uploading his mind to the ultra-immersive fantasy RPG game, Archemi. After exposing the rotten heart of an order of dragon knights, hes now on the run with a young queen dragon who could one day become the most powerful mount in the game. To get strong enough to face their enemies, they need a quest - a big one. Fortunately, trouble has a way of finding Hector, and it does - in the form of a series of brutally murdered priests, a king in desperate need of a hero, and a beautiful, fiery berserker. The risk? Huge. The payoff? More gold than a dragons hoard. There's only one problem - Archemi is haunted by the ghost of a mad developer bent on making the game his personal playground. And now that the world outside has vanished in a storm of nuclear fire, there's no one left to stop him. Or at least, thats what he thinks. Because Hector isn't the kind of man to take this shit lying down.

Double, double, bard in trouble. Mob will catch him in a couple... Okay, the mobsters looking for Daniel still hadn't found him. That was the good news. Bad news? The net was tightening - and Daniel was running out of places to hide inside the Dawnlight Forest in the World of Chains. His skills and achievements as a bard did not help avoid attention - quite the opposite, in fact. Maybe, it was time to leave the forest? Or, maybe...maybe take that Council quest and search for a more long-term solution to his predicament?

"This is a world with magic and a political situation similar to the world of Stephen King's The Dark Tower.... Wizard Killer contains some of the most well thought out and satisfying magic I have ever read. The magic is subtle, but powerful. The world is harsh but magnificent." - Readers' Favorite, five stars Continuing right where Season One left off, we return to that magical world, once at the height of technology, which has crashed and burned. Levitating cars lay abandoned, floating cities lie in ruin, and the tyrant wizards who ruled with iron fists are nowhere to be seen. In Season One, he awoke from the dead for the third time, his memories scrambled. He survived the terrifying wasteland by his wits, his mana-pistol, and luck, but his luck then ran out. Now, in Season Two, he's got something to say. Kill me with a floating city? You got my attention. But then steal from me and try to burn me alive? You got me thinking. I think I'm going to find your yigging, walking carcass and introduce it to two friends of mine: pain and vengeance. By the way, I borrowed a lightning rifle. Don't worry, I'll return it, empty. See you soon. Season Two kicks everything up a notch. Get yigging ready.

Black knights. Dastardly pirates. Bloodthirsty rebels. And those are the good guys. War is coming to the Midlands. Like a kettle ready to bubble over, cities teeter at the brink of boiling, all while a spymaster fans the flames. Witness the rise of the Violet Order. It was always coming to this. Freedom isn't given, it's wrenched from the choking grips of those who would stifle, contain, and control. Legends are rife with noble heroes standing over vanquished enemies, but reality is more grisly. Peace is hard-won with blood and sacrifice, and sometimes the good guys pay the ultimate price. Thus Talon, Izzy, Kyle, and the Black Hats are tasked with raising an army, storming a fortress, and fighting a war on multiple fronts, all on an impossible deadline. In three days, Haven's beta test ends, and in three days, so too might their entire world.

My brother and parents are in my life, and the position of Elder at the Citadel is in my grasp. I have Charm with her foxy ways, Twitch with her ability to reprogram even our powers, the terrifying beauty that is Andromida, my curvy tempest Gale, Aegriss with her hacker abilities, and of course there's Shimmer who can unlock a whole new world of possibilities with her illusions - both in battle and in the sheets. Then there are Charm's friends, Laurel and Harp. So why would I risk all of this? For you, my friends. To give you life. To bring you joy, and peace. Leveling up and maximizing my skill trees, enemies cower, and my ladies want me even in the heat of battle. Good thing getting down with them unlocks my powers in ways previously incomprehensible, or we might never have stood a chance. We have a job to do, and considering that we're going after the pyramids where the villains have been stealing superpowers and storing them, we're going to need our wits about us. I wish someone had been able to warn me what I might find in those pyramids or that I might end up trapped within, having to take control while risking my sanity and ability to ever live a normal life again. There's also rumor of the Blue Lady being involved in this next mission. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or not, considering the fact that we met her as a revenge-crazed criminal aboard the prison ship. But hey, if she'll help us infiltrate the pyramids and take down Ranger, who am I to argue? It's all in the line of duty.

Super powers. Super harem. Super awesome. Contains adult content. Seriously. Who in his right mind tells both his lawyer and the judge presiding over his murder trial F--k you! while still in the courtroom? No one, right? Yeah, you'd be wrong about that. I did. You'd say the same thing if you were just found guilty of a murder you didn't commit, though. Call me crazy for going off like that in court, but trust me, you don't know crazy until you see what happened next. I never believed in superheroes. I certainly didn't believe I'd become one, or that strategically forming a harem of hot chicas and getting down with them to unlock my superpowers would be the key to my survival. Did I say my survival? I meant the universe's. No, really.... That's exactly what happened when I was taken to a galaxy of supers, thrown into a prison ship full of villains, and told it was up to me to stop them all. Read on, friend, because it gets a whole hell of a lot crazier from here. Warning: This audiobook contains gratuitous violence and sex, harems, a hot foxlike chick, breasts galore, heads exploding, and ample blood. You might cringe, you will laugh, and hell, you might even cry. Soundbooth Theater presents: more super harem naughtiness! Jamie Hawke's steamy, action-packed adventure is now on audio with the full SBT cast treatment! Justin Thomas James leads yet another sexy bunch of superheroines voiced by the lovely Laurie Catherine Winkel and Annie Ellicott, while our vocal chameleon, Jeff Hays, plays the wise sage and the ultimate villain. Adjust your pants for another titillating aural joyride, and keep an eye out for more audiobooks from Jamie Hawke and Soundbooth Theater!
