Meditating to fall asleep is one of the most peaceful ways to ensure that you doze off and improve the quality of your rest. It soothes your nervous system, helping you access deeper levels of sleep and reduce overall stress. Modern technology can trick the brain into thinking it must be active all of the time - especially when we sit in front of computer, phone, or TV screens before bed. By calming the mind, we allow it to become more comfortable with relaxing, and therefore prime our brains for restful sleep. There are three meditations in this audiobook, each set to three different backing tracks, giving you nine options for falling asleep to. Try a different one each night, and see what works for you. If you don't fall asleep after just one, keep playing them. Sometimes we have allowed our bodies to struggle with sleep for so long that changing the routine can be a long process.
